Thousands of rescue dogs across Australia will get a fresh start in their new homes thanks to a new partnership between fresh dog food company Lyka and animal welfare charity PetRescue.
PetRescue is Australia’s leading animal welfare charity, connecting over 60,000 pets with loving homes each year. Through this partnership, Lyka will donate a combination of meals and discount vouchers equivalent to 81,000 freshly prepared meals over the next three years, supporting PetRescue’s mission to give every dog the best possible start.
The partnership will strengthen efforts to connect Australians with rescue pets, with PetRescue now supporting more rescue organisations than ever to help pets find loving homes.
For dogs coming from rescue, the transition into a new home is a special moment in a dog’s journey. Nutritious food plays an important role in supporting dogs as they settle into new homes and begin to thrive - and this partnership is designed to support them at one of the most important moments of their journey.
The partnership reflects Lyka’s commitment to supporting dogs beyond the bowl, backing the rescue community that works tirelessly to give dogs a second chance.
